Bikes: they change so much I'm tired of updating this

Winter snow tire question

I’ve been looking for an entry level fat bike for awhile now. Today I bought a Reid Hercules, new still in the box for $200. Hard to pass on that, my size even. Seller said he won it on a raffle at work and didn’t want it. My only need for a fat bike is to continue riding through winter when it snows. Nothing crazy, just a 10-15 mile ride on country roads. How important is studded tires for that type of riding? Or will my tires be fine? Thanks
