The lack of a sizable mud flap is also an issue for me. Luckily it keeps most gunk off compared to what it was like without anything. I am thinking I may make a small dettachable mud flap just for the front wheel, using some little clips or something. I could use it when conditions are really bad, and just take it off when the roads are fairly dry.
