Bikes: 2 many

Tires from another manufacturer even though they are marked as the same size may be the same width, but not as tall.
It's hard to analyize before buying a tire. If you have a lot of riding buddies maybe you can compare tires mounted on their wheels.

If you are riding and it starts to get caked up try bouncing the bike, even the front wheel alone up in the air, sometimes the shock on landing will dislodge sand stuck to fenders. If you do stop, squirt your water bottle up under the fender before and after banging the fender to knock out the sand.

It does look very nice the way it is, but if you are patient you can chop the fenders and make it look OK too.
