Interesting that Shimano are willing to consider the warranty direct. I’d have expected you to have to go through the retailer with a warranty claim on the entire bike but this way you get to ride it for a pretty reasonable $200 investment and have a spare if they replace it (as long as this one you bought doesn’t also fail)
