I'm finding I enjoy my old MTB's a lot more than my road bikes these days, they fit my riding style (or lack of) much better. Easier on these old bones too. I have a '97 TREK 820 I bought new and refitted with all Deore XT 3 X 9, a '95 Marin Eldridge Grade and a '90 Nishiki Ariel patiently awaiting rebuilds, an '88 GT Karakoram with a drop bar conversion and an '86 Takara Highlander. I'm trying to get rid of a bunch of bikes but none of those are on the "to go" list, they're too much fun and far too versatile.
