You would do much better parting the bike out. The largest market for these traditional vintage steel bikes is mainly old guys like myself. Us old guys have got all kinds of parts we’ve collected over the years and generally when we see a bike we’re interested in, we are not willing to spend much more for it than what we would have for the price of the frame alone because we have the parts already and just need the frame. Just my opinion on this. The last bike I bought whole was the last one but that was because it was an ex-race bike and the seller was not interested in parting it out so I bought it, even though I plan to install a different group on it, still period correct for that frame but one from my stash that I’ve had for 20 something years waiting for that right frame.
