i think they spend too much time chasing new trends, rather than taking care of the ordinary parts replacement markets.

It's the original Red 10 speed RD, with the 28t spec'd max sprocket size.

If by original you mean a road RD from the 10 speed era, I was able to get a 30t big cog to work with my SRAM Red 10 speed RD. It would not clear a 32t. The WiFli versions work with a 32t out the box; I use a 11sp WiFli Rival RD on my gravel bike with an extender to clear a 40t cog. Actually I've ran a regular 10sp Rival RD with an extender for a 36t cog (on a 1x though, so I didn't need to worry about chain wrap capacity).
