Did 41 miles today on an “organized” ride. First SAG was not advertised well since one would need to leave the route and ride into town (not sure how I was supposed to know that since there were no signs) and missed it. That would have been about 12 miles in. My partner and I were looking for some fuel since we missed the SAG and didn’t take snacks with us. So, stopped at a restaurant and enjoyed lunch together to eliminate the lightheadedness.

The 2nd SAG was back in town since you loop around a lake and it was a “combo” SAG. The first and 2nd SAG were the same SAG 😂. The problem was, the location was a bit of a mystery, so we missed it the 2nd time around as well. Stopped at a C-Store and picked up some M&M’s since we still had about 12-14 miles to go. 35 miles in, we came across the 3rd SAG which was located on the route and very visible. Couldn’t miss it. I asked where the other SAG was and was told you had to turn off the route and it was somewhere near the Farmer’s Market in the small town. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh well, I learned a valuable lesson today……bring snacks for fuel in case the expected SAGs are difficult to find. All in all, a beautiful day for the ride and enjoyed the countryside.
