Didn't get going on this yesterday as I planned. I had black braze on clamps for the FD but wanted silver on this one. So I had to order one in. And somehow some Soma HWY One silver bars wound on order too. The older I get the more I appreciate compact bars. In fact my lower back is hurting today from yesterday's ride on the Lemond. I felt it tightening up on the ride and it really didn't get better overnight.

So this morning I did what I could. The NOS 7800 crankset had a silver BB that came with it. I forgot the BB was in the box with the crank so that was a bonus. Mounted those up with no problems. Then I threw on the brakes and the RD. I think I will use a different silver seatpost with a little setback to better center the clamp on the saddle rails.
