There are just too many deals out there on high end skinny tire rim brake road bikes. Someone with $2500 to spend has lots of options, including discounted brand new bikes with more modern features. We can debate the usefulness of these features all day but the truth is most buyers spending real money want disc brakes, wider tires and more than 10 speeds. The used market tanked about 2 years ago and now it’s truly a buyer’s market.
