Not sure what is meant by fully invested in my career. I don't expect any more promotions, with about 18 months to retirement. There are things I want to accomplish, to benefit the company and colleagues for years after i leave. Some big challenges there.

I'm a 45 hour salary guy, and i expect to stay there until retirement. My days of 80 hour weeks are long gone; that was stupid, as I probably wrote 10x more software defects between hours 40-80.
