Still looks like a fun bike.
Enjoy!
Track ends ARE kind of a drag on a fender-equipped road bike - though I have managed them for more than 20 years now on my Mercian. The biggest gripe I have with them, especially when they are truly horizontal, is that they limit the number of gear teeth one can run without having to readjust the brake pads.

It’s also likely to get a 2 x 1 drivetrain: 44/28t crankset and 18t single speed freewheel. It has both track ends and a RD hanger. Yeah, a bit odd. Thanks!
Lemme throw in a plug for White Industries Dos Eno freewheels here - I would be tempted to run 34/48 by a 20/22T freewheel ... but that may just be me being crazy ...

It IS a lovely bike. I had its ancestor, a c.2004 Quickbeam, but in the end I just liked my Mercian better.
