I also read it, but my opinion is governed by the opening sentences that describe what's covered-----defects. A defect would imply that something is made poorly or sub par. IMO that doesn't describe something that lasts 15 years.
OTOH, if someone can point to a specific, identifiable defect, ie. a void or air bubble then it wouldn't matter when it finally failed.
