I think I was really disappointed in how hard it was to ride after this last accident. I'm sure there are bikes that would be easier to ride. But I'm also sure the more I get on my ICT the easier it will get.
As well although I feel I recovered quickly, I am not fully recovered and healed quite yet and I think I'm down on my self that I can't do what I could do.. That I and I'm seeing a ton of mountain bikes and gravel bikes on the trails these days and I know they're easily 20lbs lighter than my big fat fatty. Lol
Rather than the expense of switching to lighter wheels...

Assuming flat rides... Just ride lower gears than you did before, the effort will be less. You won't go as fast or as far, but you'll be able to gently ride the bike and get back to biking form. The hardest thing is to just get started; Get started, if only at low effort and distance, and you'll get back to form.
