Sounds like a decent deal to me.

Mike at oddsandendos.com is building me a powertap right now. The rear wheel cost me $1050 shipped with powertap SL. I'm using the niobium 30mm aero rim with 28 sapim cx-ray spokes. I went this route because I like his guarantees in case I damage the wheel. It's really cheap to get them fixed.

Note that I bought the powertap seperately and shipped it to Mike for the build.
