By increasing or decreasing fork offset. Thats the purpose of a flip chip fork. Gravel bikes have slack HTAs. A 70.5 HTA with a 45mm fork offset will yield north of 70mm or trail. Very stable at descending but a very floppy front end at lower speeds. Increase fork offset to 50 or 55mm and trail shrinks into the 60s.
