Found an interesting sticker on the steering tube of my 89 Merckx.

I had not taken the fork off the bike previously, so this is my first look at it.

any ideas? It says chrome, the fork is painted but chrome under the paint.

Bike is a 56cm, 57 on sticker may be the size?
