Hi Honcho,
it is, but no larger than 34/50. It's the upshift that needs the ramps and pinning.
The downshift is easily managed (on my old triple) with an almost weightless plastic 'dogtooth' chain catcher which is bolted round the seat tube. Never fails.
But my question really was about 12sp compatibility...
