I've never had a problem shifting on TA 10X chainrings; but my question was specifically regarding 12 speed double chainrings. No point in worrying about the tooth difference if the chainrings won't accept the chain...

does TA make specifically 12sp rings? I took a
look at the Peter White site and all I could find were 11sp. FWIW I think 11sp rings would probably work fine. I recently inadvertently installed a Campag 12sp chain on a 10sp Campag drivetrain and dialed in the indexing on the stand. It shifted fine. How far this translates to actual function on the road, I don’t know, but it suggests that 11sp rings are a possibility
