Something similar is law here too in DE, not supposed to block the rear only license plate, doesnt stop the folks who use smoke color plate covers to avoid the red light cameras & the LEOs here have other more important things to do /s
I am against putting in permanent ez or similar trackers, sorry I dont need more nanny state garbage. Also in my state the developers pushing for more retirement aged folks to come here (big business who has many politicos in their pocket) lot more of those e-cart things on the back of vehicles blocking the plate anyway. So I'd love to see them try to enforce it here, I'll be rolling on the floor LMAO
It doesnt surprise me though with how many (degatory name for) Mass drivers I see driving down here, or even when I lived in CT/Long Island, or when we visited MA. I know the driving has only gotten worse in the 10+ yrs I havent been up there as a vehicle driver, course it used to be nice going up there & doing a bike fall foliage ride when we were kids (70s/early 80s)
