Great looking bike! As long as it fits and is comfortable, it'll be a big upgrade from a road bike. My wife did the HITS Lake Beryessa 2 years in a row. The first year was on her Cervelo P3. No issues. The next year she decided to ride her Emonda (much lighter and a hilly course so she thought it would be better), her comment afterwards was "I brought a knife to a gun fight".
