So I am 56 now and all the years of punishment I put myself through working construction and I had to retire at 52 due to issues with my spine. I have essentially no discs left. I have a 5 lb. weight limit and I haven't played golf, bowled, snow or water skied, rode my cheap mountain bike, changed a car tire, rode a dirt bike, a snowmobile, or rode in a boat on Lake Michigan. In 20 years . We went about an hour cruise up to a town called Saugatuck and while we were in having dinner and some adult beverages the weather took a dump and it was really choppy. and the ride was killing me. My buddy asked me if I wanted to go slow and have it last a couple hours or go WFO and pay for it but it would be over sooner. I said "hit it brother". I stood between the windshields and he never eased up on the gas until we were back.

It has stadium tires on it but they are all rotted away. There is no way that I could have one of those turn 1 moments that we all have had racing. 6 or 7 guys all converge at the exit of turn 1 and we are all trying to go through the same place and then you have a pedal in your ribcage and somebody's ass is right in your face and it's a free for all because they are only taking 1-1-2 from the 3 mottos so everyone has the same mindset that today is one of those days that is gonna be ugly. No friends when the gate drops. No prisoners.
I haven't jumped out of the back of a pickup truck in almost 30 years. I takes to long to heal when you get passed 40-45. I used to be leaving for the bar at 10 pm but know that's bedtime. It's pretty sad but I am trying to play guitar after about a. 25 year hiatus. My left hand is not cooperating with the program and I got my right hand into my table saw and lost about 30-35% of my pointer finger and did some permanent nerve damage to my pointer, middle and ring fingers. I have to get picks that have some grip to them because I can't feel the pick in my fingers. Plus carpal tunnel in both hands just to top it off
