The ltd has a slacker headtube angle so they rightly ship it with a fork with more rake so it doesn't drive (as much) like a truck. The sutra and sutra ltd have the same trail. I'm not fully convinced that one number is really adequate to model front end geometry, but it's a pretty good start. I'm sure I would prefer the handling of the SE, but if the sutra worked, the LTD should give very similar handling to that. I'm not sure exactly what the complaint to Kona would be. "You're shipping me a bike with the same trail as the one I have, but it doesn't meet my needs."

Given that Kona looked like it was going out of business not that long ago, I feel like OP is probably out of luck. But that's up to Kona to decide. I'm sure their warranty allows them to substitute this frame.

I was wondering if the chart was showing pneumatic trail, but it doesn't seem that it is, just geometric trail. Or am I missing something? I think they should usually report geometric trail and not assume what tires the rider will choose.
