Bikes: 1989 Trek 420, 1995 GT Timberline, 1979 Schwinn Super Le Tour, Co-Op DRT 1.3

Upon further examination, might be a moot point. Bontrager rear wheel hub is 9 spline, which apparently is not a thing anymore? Would the cassette on my 3 year old rear wheel most probably be 12 spline?
