I am pretty upset about this. A roof rack is out of the question because I drive a convertible and at 5' - 3" and 72 years old, I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my bike on top of a car.
Comments welcome.
I received a warning, too, in Somerville, MA. And I was about to order a Thule license plate holder (to affix to the rack or the bike) and get a duplicate license plate, when I discovered that displaying a duplicate plate is illegal in Massachusetts.
Come on! This is ridiculous! I am perfectly willing to comply with the law, but not allowing me to do that is really sadistic.
