Thank you for the cool, inspiring pictures, but what are these "basement" things some of you refer to?

My wife doesn't like our 4'x7' CedarShed "Yard Saver," so I am going to get the evict the gardening supplies and requisition that space for bike and car parts storage. I'll keep hanging the bikes from the garage rafters, above the cars, on "Bicycle Storage Hooks."
