The overwhelming majority of titanium frames, even those that have been ridden hard for twenty or thirty years, look essentially brand new, thanks to the incredible durability of the metal.
I've noticed that many ex-pro racers, such as Andy Hampsten and Chris Horner, regardless of what they rode when they were on sponsored teams, are fans of titanium, at least partly because some of them still do a lot of traveling and like knowing that they don't have to worry about cosmetic frame damage.
