I feel for you. I had it a week ago. Force yourself to recover and do nothing for 7 days. Don't lift a finger to lift anything; I made some mistakes and it has (I think) prolonged my recovery. All the sound advice says to wait at least 8 weeks before getting back in the saddle. I plan on waiting a little longer. It was extremely painful for the first 24-48 hours after. As the week progresses, the pain gets less. It's imperative to drink the amount of water they suggest for recovery (2-3 litres a day). I can tell already the TURP surgery was worth it. Good luck - but my advice is don't rush your recovery!
