I rode the Rotrax in to the shop today, to show it off a bit and inspire the boss to get me a price on the bar/stem I wanted. After closing, I said, give me a price for these and a set of track grips. He gave me a very fair, rock bottom price, and they were mine. After that, I fumbled around for a half hour looking for my wallet, which I had actually left at home.
Anyway, I got home, cleaned up the "new" stem and bars and installed them.



Next will be to build a set of street wheels with some large flange Airlite track hubs laced to MA2s.
I need to get rid of that Suntour caliper as well.
This is turning into a spectacular project. Looking forward to getting some decals and a real headbadge on the frame.
