Yes, 2 months then another month of waiting for your next shot. I was taking a daily Diclofenac pill and a cortisone shot every 3 months for years (right knee). Then the Ortho Doc cut me off of the pill citing concern about kidney damage but said the shots could continue in perpetuity because the knee is already trashed. We both retired about the same time and lo and behold I haven't had the shot for a couple years now. My new Ortho Doc said I could continue with the shot if I wanted but I seem to do alright with weight loss, exercise, staying off ladders.
