I work in a school, so anything with a blade isn't explicitly against the rules (ie guns, alcohol), but is certainly frowned upon (ie anything with chemicals or an electric cord). There are other places one might theoretically bike to that would permit the pliers but not allow a Leatherman in. Around here, the closest would be municipal court - they check everybody.
