I'm pretty sure the "cycling dynamics" page shows live feedback if you have that page enabled. One of my bikes does have dual-sided power, and I have a Garmin 530, but I disabled the dynamics page.

As far as the imbalance and the hip pain, sounds indicative of a bike fit issue and/or strength issues. Possibly a tighter hip angle than your body wants to deal with, but I'm not a bike fitter so YMMV. Off the bike exercises targeting core strength and hip stability, have done wonders for keeping me relatively pain free during high-volume blocks of riding.
