Bikes: road, track, mtb

jk... MTB isn't for everyone. And gravel offers a lot of advantages over road that MTB does too, getting off the beaten path, away from cars, closer to nature etc. Personally I've been riding MTB since the beginning and when I think about riding off road, I want some chunk and single-track without being too "under biked".

I've been calling gravel a fad for like 10 years but it's here to stay now. Maybe I was just mad bc in the beginning it was taking a lot of participation away from road events. The racing - I've never done it, but it kinda just seems like less dynamic road racing? Like who can hold the highest sweet spot power endlessly?? I do have mad respect for some of the gravel pros in an ultra-endurance athlete type way. Absolute powerhouses.

I'm kind of a "puncheur/attaquer" if you will so I don't think I'd be particularly good at it.
