Today was a short test ride on the new to me Look 555. I know....I know...no new bikes. But dang what's a bike nut to do when no one else snaps something like this up when it was so cheap. The revived shifters worked fine today as did the Dura Ace wheels I just got from another local rider. Went out around noon after physical therapy but it was still quite chilly. For the most part I held back from going fast as I don't initially trust old C.F. bikes as easily as I do steel. Saddle was a bit high and still needs to be taken care of.

Heading into Cemetery Point

2006 Look 555 with a mostly Ultegra build. 17.5 lbs as built now

Felt windy while riding but the water was calm. Maybe it was just the cold , thick air.

Loving the empty beaches of late

One of the main streets in Huntsville

Old (for out here) barn

A little bit of slope to the top tube

The old barn on the edge of Huntsville

Days like this it's safe to fly on the bike path as hardly anyone is around.

Surprised this sort of turned out, shooting back into the sun.
