Are you happy with the rack? I wonder why they decided to have the rear part curve up? Seems unnecessary and makes securing packages with bungee cord a bit harder.
Panniers are from Bike Nashbar and I bought them about 40 years ago.
The rack is rock solid and serves me well. I normally only have the trunk bag on it. If the curve bothers you, you can heat it and straighten it in a bench vise.
