So, I took the freehub body off and here is what it looks like:
So it looks like there is only one thread on this axle (drive size) and that the free hub body is held in place with the reverse threaded nut.
Anyway, I put loctite on and tightened it up and it stayed in place. But then I got another sound, so I've taken out the freehub body and cleaned the pawls and will hope for the best. Tomorrow I'll go order a new wheel
