Alexthe: The click-stand Is good with heavy loads due to its higher holding position. The click-stand is a segmented tent pole with a u shaped piece on one end for your top tube and a rubber boot on the other end. You attach the elastic bands to your brake levers or handles then deploy the stand. You really need the elastic bands attached so the bicycle doesn't move out from under the click-stand. I don't always need to deploy the stand but also use the elastic bands. If you look at my bicycle you might notice I am not that worried about every gram. Having said that the click-stand is probably lighter than a regular stand.

It takes longer to deploy than a regular stand and the elastic in the pole sections will stretch eventually and you will need to tighten it. When I purchased it I selected the heavier pole material and ordered the larger rubber boot. If you order one I would consider looking at the products list. He sales all the individual parts so if you were to wear something out or bend one of the pole segments you could replace it if you have the spares.
