I've considered getting rid of it because it's fairly heavy, but it's really practical.
I have a very similar model from Litepro on my commuter:
I've decided that since my commuter is already a heavy steel beast adding a few hundred grams for the convenience of not needing to find a place to lean my bike when parking at work or anywhere else is a fair trade-off. If I want light, I've got my road bike for that - and it doesn't have and will not
ever have a kickstand. 😁
