This lever, it is pretty dang swank. If has an internal spring mechanism, it has a fulcrum and pivot inside that looks to take up additional cable; the cable exits from the back top of the lever, under the hood, so that the cable is not pinched by the body of the brake; the end of the cable itself comes out underneath the lever, making cable swaps a cinch. A lot more thought went into its design than any other levers that I have seen.
My favorite new lever that I have just recently tried is the Campy carbon fiber one. It is really light, pretty comfortable; but it is just a brifter without its inner workings. This lever is way cooler...
