Im happy somebody agree that a pair of tubulars ride better than the best clincher and even the heaviest tubular will ride better, ever. Tubulars are esay to fix (u cant fix TUfo, that the reason of the sealant)
U have to get any 300 grams tubulars, i know its heavy but this christian do not want to get flats, so get something tough such a 280/300 grams tubular. The rolling will be better than a light clincher anyways.
Vitorias are nice but the problem is that u r going to use them like for 6 months or so then u'll get a flat and then better put a new pair because u'll start getting flats very often (make sense because the tire is old?)
700 x 21.5 Gommitalia Champion tubular tires, 21,5 mms,, this is a sweet tubular, u can get the PAIR at ebay for 35 bucks. I used gommitalia tubulars centuries ago and they are good stuff.
The next option that I like a lot because im using their tubular clinchers is TUFO, a 250 grams tufo tubublar is virtually indestructable (the spelling is wrong, right?) u wont get flats with those one, maybe in a year, put the sealant (a product from them to prevent flats) stuff on them and u'll be safe maybe for a year. Tufo is good stuff.
Oh I hope u do this everyday, take the air out of the tubulars everyday. The tubular wont get expanded so please do this everyday at night before to sleep or when u get at home and u certainly know that u wont use the bike. Next day before to use the bike put like 80/90 psi on them, do not put more than that. This is something I been doing for more than 20 year and i dont get flats and the tubulars last me from 8 - 15 months. Sometimes i really had to thrown them away because they are in its last breaths if u know what i want to say.
Enjoy
