I have since moved the rear wheel forward to the edge of the dropouts. This lines the brakes up (barely) but now the wheel has about 3mm clearance from the chain post and seat tube. Too close for comfort to me. I’m not a mechanic so sometimes figuring this stuff out is a little daunting. Charles, I’ll send you a PM.
