Ultra low friction BAM and nanotube coated "fastest" chains?
Hello. Are there any innovative chains using boron aluminum magnesium ceramic coating (BAM)? BAM is recently invented ceramic alloy with lowest in the world friction coeficient, it's very hard and resistant to high temperatures unlike teflon which as also may be toxic. Teflon has a friction coefficient of 0.05, while BAM maintains an incredible 0.02. I also learned that there also carbon nanotube bicycle chains also with friction.
Maybe there also chain lubricants with BAM or nanotube additives? I could also just mix this pure powder with regular oil.
