Raleigh Record bikes were a low-end version. The Record Ace models, with Reynolds 531 frames and the team color scheme were not. They're nice, good-riding, well-made, lugged bikes. Just make sure that what you're viewing has a Reynolds 531 frame, not 20-30 steel.

The plain steel Record/ Record Ace models would probably top out at $100 in very good condition. I've seen the 531 Record Ace models sell for around $200 for the frame-set only, so an equipped, and in good condition bike should be worth $250 and up. Keep in mind that vintage bike prices are currently at low levels, and only excellent shape models sell for decent prices.

If it's your size, in great condition, fully ready to go, I wouldn't think $275-300 is out of line.
