The pads are Shimano and the system uses mineral oil. Bleeding them was easy. I used a kit and pushed the fluid in from the caliper with reservoir on top while pumping the lever. Very easy. The hose olive and barbs are listed on their website and I believe it was BH59. The lever reach is adjustable for play I think.
