The current project under way is a 1994 Trek 730 Multitrack 15" with the classic green/purple fade. Trek sales brochure pics for reference.



I piked it up last summer on FB marketplace from the original owner who has since moved to a recumbent trike. She purchased the bike new and it has been unused since 2008. All for the original parts were there including the tires but everything was covered with nicotine film. After getting it home, I set to work disassembling the bike then cleaned and polished the frame. I finally decided to follow a similar build process as the 1998 730 Multitrack and hand it off to my daughter. This thread will highlight the build process, components used, and lessons learned along the way. I'll be adding pictures to the thread soon.
