Odd the timing of your post. Just finished 15 miles, 37degrees F, 29 WC. Just 'HAD to' cause I'm leaving for a business trip tomorrow for next 2 weeks. Philippines, they're having trouble with rebels (not the US southern kind, these boys are Mean!) so will be escorted by armed guard when going anywere close to were I visit. My main concern - How am I going to find a place (actually time) to ride? (Honest) Weekend will be spent in a much safer area so I should find something.
I was on a ride a couple of weeks ago with a guy who grew up in Manila. He said that, when he was a youngster, there was a group of fast riders that trained on fixed wheel bikes around Manila. He said they are what really got him interested in riding as a sport.
