Does it only tick while riding? I've had cases where I believe the click is caused by the glue between the tire and rim compressing and then releasing (clicking) at a spot. Sometimes the spot finally sets and the click goes away. Sometimes I just try to ignore it. Sometimes I'll re-glue.
