There is a lot of variation in personal preference, and that is why there are so many different bends out there. If you think that your concept (which exists nowhere in the market) is a better one, then you should try to get a manufacturer interested. That said, I can predict the outcome. Having your arms angled toward the center of the bike sounds very uncomfortable, but that's just me.
