It had occurred to me. I’m not consciously copying anyone, but there’s probably nothing new under the sun when it comes to building bicycles from off-the-shelf parts.

All the same, what handlebars and hubs does Zach Gallardo use? When I Google, I see a load of bicycles (some not Wabis) and variations in the builds of each one. He doesn’t seem to be heavily into the technical side of things, so maybe his components are not choices I would make anyway. Form follows function for me … distantly.

I think you made the right call to put that cranked seatpost and Nitto stem on the Level instead. Better fit. Though I always found that seatpost clumsy looking and clumsy in operation (putting a needless limit on minimum saddle height).
