Hi some years ago i had some trouble with my ebike and the mechanic i took it to said the thing on the handle bar had water in it so they 'waterproofed ' it. it didnt take long and its looking not waterproofed so i wrapped it with plastic. various different versions over the years. you might say go back but nope not doing that after been treated like **** many times and i might say others say the same. ebike shops are a rare thing where i am. so i have one of those hobby heat guns and several forms of sheet plastics but i dont know what to do . can anyone point me in the right direction because the only thing i have ever heated is those tube things to cover joined electrical wires but in my day we used a match to heat shrink it. what i am also unsure about it how this thing is covered anyway. seems only on the face plate if thats the right term. thanks appreciate some advice
